A bit about the lady behind

Memoirs By Kayleigh

Photographing authentic love stories and organic connection is where the magic is at. Stepping into your world and capturing the raw and intimate corners of your life together is an absolute privilege. And I don’t take one solitary shred of it for granted.

With an unbridled artistic spirit, my aim is to capture the fleeting moments and turn them into pieces of fine art that you can treasure forever. I’ve always been creating something and although my craft has taken many forms over the years, photography - and the utter joy it ignited in me - was a constant.

If the birth of my first child fanned the creative flames, the birth of my second doused them in fuel. My finest work of art yet, my family, has shown me how important it is to find the beauty in the mundane and this crazy little thing called love and document it forever.

Sevenoaks Wedding

Photographer

When I’m not chasing real love stories, you’ll still find me with a camera firmly in one hand and likely a toddler in the other.

My husband calls it an obsession, and he’s right. Family means everything to me, and I want to capture every part and every one in it. (Even my two Persian cats roll their eyes at me beneath the fluff sometimes).

FORESTS, FROLICKING and FLEETWOOD MAC

  • Happiest when outdoors or cradling an animal (ideally both).

  • The forests of Sevenoaks are where we spend our weekends and I’m always on the prowl for those soft and hazy sun kissed spots for all your pre-wedding / family shoot goodness.

  • We're keen travellers and I’ve drawn inspiration from all of the magical lands that I’ve explored over the years solo, with friends and with my amazing husband. There is something ridiculously romantic about taking your love story to a far off land and immersing yourselves in the culture and each other. If you’re considering a destination wedding and want to take me with you, get in touch.

  • A self-confessed ambivert meaning I will fully throw myself into every part of your day and will be the last on the dance floor with the best of them, but will need around a week to recover. Cue copious cups of tea and obsessive editing.

  • Fleetwood Mac is the soundtrack to my life.
